What is one fun fact about you?
I'm the mom of two beautiful kids, ages 9 and 10!
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
All the people that make up this incredible institution and how much I have learned over the years.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
Being part of shaping the fundraising for new undergraduate initiatives like COLLEGE and the FLI Opportunity Fund, as well as longstanding needs like financial aid has been very rewarding as they all offer a front row seat at how Stanford is trying to tackle the challenges we face today. It also keeps me connected to our amazing undergraduates.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
Too many to recount. All of the campaign road show events over the years and anytime when I've been able to be with both colleagues and our wonderful donors. I also loved recently reliving the 20th anniversary of the Miracle at Maples in the wonderful oral history that Stanford Athletics just produced.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
Read the Stanford Report and Stanford Daily, join the Stanford Historical Society, take advantage of lectures. Really become part of the University. It will hopefully be more than just a job. We are part of an inspiring mission.
