What is one fun fact about you?
I'm actually a shy and quiet person
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
Interacting with the undergraduate and graduate students. Having the opportunity to help train and mentor them on their scientific path is near and dear to me.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
There are many, the commonality of all of them is being part of something bigger than yourself. Knowing that you played a significant role or made a difference is what gives me a sense of pride.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
Aside from working with some amazing people, receiving the Amy Blue award. To unknowingly be recognized by those you help by doing a job you are passionate about is a wonderfully humbling experience.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
The magnitude that is Stanford can seem or feel overwhelming. Try to focus on the reason you are here and the expertise you bring to this institution, not the noise around you. Your impact is what helps make Stanford.
