What is one fun fact about you?
I am a fan of a wide range of music, from classical, choral, rock, K-pop, and heavy metal.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
Working at Stanford has been a point of pride. The people and facilities are incredible. It is rewarding to be involved, even in a small way, in research and science efforts that will help us all unlock the mysteries of mankind and the universe.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
A point of pride is working with a small but fantastic group of people to create and develop SLAC's multifaceted Geographic Information System (GIS), which has become a ubiquitous tool used by almost everybody at the lab.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
A favorite memory while working at Stanford was having 1990 Nobel Prize winner Richard Taylor contact me and other fellow Canadians who were working at SLAC.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
A new hire at Stanford should enjoy the work and also the atmosphere at Stanford. It is also a good idea to expand your role and not to think you can't work with other Stanford groups which may, at first glance, seem unrelated to your primary efforts.
