What is one fun fact about you?
I love Halloween. I plan a Halloween event every year. It started as an event for RMG, then grew to an event for all the departments in our building, and now, for the last 2 years it's been an event for the Stanford Redwood City Campus. So much fun!
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
It's hard to narrow it down to one thing, Stanford University is such an inspiring organization. I feel very privileged to have supported the research mission in my career.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
My role in the creation of the Research Management Group (RMG) and now my role as Executive Director leading a team of devoted, creative, hardworking staff who provide research administration in the School of Medicine.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
Receiving the Marsh O'Neill Award in 2010.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
Take advantage of all the opportunities to engage and contribute, volunteer for committees or working groups, get involved, and be willing to stretch your comfort zone as much as possible. This will enrich your experience and career at Stanford.
